Archiving technology provider Network Appliance has introduced StoreVault S500, a network storage package designed for the small and medium-sized storage market.
StoreVault S500 is a network storage appliance that supports NAS, iSCSI, SAN, and fibre channel (FC) SAN, according to the Sunnyvale, CA-based firm. It's scalable up to 6 TB and is compatible with either 250-GB or 500-GB SATA drives, Network Appliance said. Pricing starts at approximately $5,000.
