Data Distributing debuts CD destruction device

Archiving distributor Data Distributing has added CD Wipeout to its peripheral product line.

CD Wipeout allows hospitals and imaging centers to properly destroy CDs that were burned with patient data, according to the Laguna Hills, CA-based firm. It employs a grinding technology to remove the indelible print, while simultaneously destroying the data layer, Data Distributing said.
