McKesson will be unveiling new enhancements and features for its Horizon Medical Imaging PACS product.
The Richmond, British Columbia, firm will be showcasing workflow features that assist radiologists and radiology departments with the demands of a busy imaging service -- such as adaptive image loading, clinical series mapping, three-click reporting, and staged display protocols. McKesson will also be demonstrating high-volume reading tools for modalities such as digital mammography, CT, and cardiac imaging.
Also scheduled to be featured are image analysis tools such as multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), advanced visualization capabilities such as 3D imaging, and fusion image applications for PET. The firm offers specialized applications for nuclear medicine, cardiology, and orthopedics, as well as high availability and disaster recovery products.
