Bycast will unveil version 6.0 of its StorageGrid storage architecture. The new release adds features to simplify the management of massive storage systems.
Version 6.0 expands the storage hierarchy supported within the StorageGrid, according to the Vancouver-based vendor. A new ArchiveNode feature allows hospitals to leverage their existing investments in archive media, Bycast said.
Bycast has also simplified the management of massive archives. In the new release, administrators will be instantly notified when a volume fault is detected, according to the firm.
