EMC

EMC will showcase enhancements to its Centera content-addressable storage (CAS) offering.

EMC will highlight event-based retention (EBR), and litigation-hold scenarios to help customers deal with more varied and complex scenarios, according to the Hopkinton, MA-based firm.

For example, e-mail messages and documents scheduled for automatic deletion per policy can be identified and retained if they are material to legal, regulatory, or other events, EMC said. The record or object can then be deleted when appropriate.

In other additions, EMC said it has incorporated enhanced security features to provide greater levels of control.
