RIS/PACS vendor Avreo has inked a new agreement with archiving services provider InSite One.
Under the new deal, InSite One of Wallingford, CT, will now offer Avreo's interView, interOrtho, and interWorks radiology workflow software in hosted configurations at its Tier 4 data centers. The new services will join Avreo's interDayHawk offering, which InSite One has already been hosting.
As part of the deal, interDayHawk's capabilities have been extended to include a hosted referring physician's portal and a new interSecondary archive for Avreo customers who want to retain storage onsite, Avreo said.
Via InSite One's partnerships with local distributors in South Africa, Avreo's offerings will now be available to radiologists within this country's private practice community and public health organizations, Charleston, SC-based Avreo said. The companies said they are evaluating joint opportunities to extend their collective services to other countries in the future.
