Carestream Health said it has begun taking orders for the updated version of its Carestream Image Suite software, which offers computed radiography-based image acquisition and an optional mini-PACS module.
The newest version of Image Suite features a touch-friendly interface along with an enhanced set of tools that streamline workÂflow and improve image quality, according to Carestream. The company plans to release the new software worldwide in October.
The new package does not support mammography applications in the U.S., Carestream said.
