Imaging tool development firm LEAD Technologies has rolled out new enhancements to its HTML5 zero-footprint medical viewer.
Available as a free upgrade for registered users of version 17.5 of the LEADtools software and LEADtools annual maintenance customers, the enhancements include the addition of multiple study and series level layouts, according to the vendor. Users can also apply new tools such as image processing, annotations, and window leveling to individual images or a range of cells.
The company said the viewer's annotations have been improved by utilizing DICOM Softcopy Presentation State and Compound Graphic Objects when loading and saving annotations. In addition, LEAD has incorporated support for additional image processing functions, drag and drop, waveform, and cine.
