Carestream Health has begun delivering an upgraded version of its Clinical Collaboration Platform.
The Clinical Collaboration Platform features a new rule-based Workflow Orchestrator, which directs imaging exams to the most appropriate radiologists based on priority, subspecialty, relationships, and availability, according to the vendor. In addition, Carestream has added new integrated chat and live screen-sharing capability to enable collaboration between clinicians, radiologists, and other stakeholders.
The platform also includes the vendor's quality module for comprehensive management reports, as well as its Vue Motion enterprise viewer for giving referring physicians access to patient imaging exams and supporting data, Carestream said. Meanwhile, a new Integrated Report Analytics module supports the discovery of unstructured textural medical information for quality reporting, education, and training, according to the firm. Users can also search radiology reports thanks to the platform's use of natural language processing, ontology-based searching, and metadata filtering and sorting.
