Ultrasound technology developer Exo has launched its Exo Works point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) workflow software, designed to help physicians quickly and easily document, review, bill, and manage quality assurance in one platform.
The cloud-based software is device-agnostic and can be accessed from a phone, tablet, or web browser, enabling physicians to do their work from anywhere, the company said. Exo Works integrates with virtually any point-of-care ultrasound device and the most common electronic medical record and hospital PACS applications.
While the software is device-agnostic, Exo Works is being developed in concert with the company's handheld ultrasound device, which uses new technology to improve image quality in a pocket-sized device at a fraction of the cost of a cart-based system, Exo said.
