FDA approval adds muscle to mammography platform
An FDA approval clears the way for Siemens Healthineers to add new diagnostic synthetic mammogram processing to MAMMOMAT Revelation, the industry-leading mammogram system.
Because it looks similar to a mammogram, Insight 2D is ideal for easy comparison with prior images. It's created from the same data set as the tomo slices, so you can reduce dose.¹ That data can also be displayed in 3D to supplement tomosynthesis reading.
Siemens Healthineers is the only vendor to have FDA approval for diagnosis with tomo only.
