Fujifilm has completed construction of two new production facilities at its North American manufacturing headquarters in Greenwood, SC. The facilities -- one for medical imaging products and the other dedicated to photographic film and paper -- will begin production within five weeks, according to the company.
The medical imaging plant represents the company's first such facility outside of Japan. Stamford, CT-based Fujifilm Medical Systems USA also announced a $300,000 donation toward the establishment of a women's imaging facility at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
