Imaging components supplier North American Imaging has been awarded a five-year contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs. The deal enables any VA or Department of Defense (DOD) facility to order NAI's DICOM box at a pre-negotiated contract price.
The agreement covers the Camarillo, CA-based firm's entire DICOM box line, which converts and connects legacy imaging equipment and laser cameras. NAI's products have already been installed in VA and DOD facilities in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Oregon, and California, according to the vendor.
