X-ray equipment developer Quantum Medical Imaging has launched its Odyssey HF line of x-ray generators. The generators are designed for analog and digital imaging and operate at a near-constant potential of up to 120 kHz, at power levels of 80 kW through 32 kW, and at outputs of up to 150 kVp, the company said.
In other Quantum news, the company has been awarded a contract to provide its Q-Rad line of radiography systems to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The agreement allows any U.S. government facility to buy the systems, Quantum said.
