Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services and nonprofit healthcare provider Alegent Health of Omaha, NE, have signed a 10-year strategic alliance. Under terms of the agreement, Alegent expects to purchase approximately $150 million in Siemens products and services, according to Malvern, PA-based Siemens. In return, Alegent Health will become a "Medical Center of Excellence" and will be used to showcase Siemens healthcare products to existing and potential customers.
