The Minnies return for 2004 run

Every year, AuntMinnie.com takes your nominations and votes to select the individuals, companies, and healthcare providers who merit recognition for their contributions to medical imaging.

Dear AuntMinnie Member,

As summer draws to a close, interest is heating up in the Minnies, AuntMinnie.com's annual awards event to recognize excellence in radiology.

Every year, AuntMinnie.com takes your nominations and votes to select the individuals, companies, and healthcare providers who merit recognition for their contributions to medical imaging. The Minnies take place in three stages, from nominations to semifinals to a final vote that culminates in November. Winners are recognized at the RSNA conference in Chicago.

The nominations stage is a great way for you to let us know about someone whose work merits acknowledgement. Know of a radiology researcher who is performing cutting-edge work? Nominate them in our Most Influential Radiology Researcher category. Think a research paper deserves a wider audience? Nominate it in our Best Scientific Paper category.

Other Minnies categories include Most Effective Radiology Educator, Best New Radiology Product, and Best New Radiology Vendor. You can also sound off on the state of the specialty with our Hottest Clinical Procedure and Biggest Threat to Radiology categories.

As an added bonus, we'll be giving away AuntMinnie coffee mugs to 10 lucky participants in each stage of the Minnies.

So head on over to minnies.auntminnie.com to submit your nominations. Do it soon -- nominations will be accepted only through September 6 for this stage of the Minnies.
