Cedara Software of Mississauga, Ontario, has formed a strategic partnership with Eklin Medical Systems to distribute its medical software to the veterinary radiology market.
Eklin of Sunnyside, CA, will distribute Cedara's image and data management technology, as well as the eFilm Workstation and Merge Fusion PACS from Cedara's parent company, Merge Healthcare of Milwaukee, in the veterinary care market.
The two companies will exclusively co-market and co-brand Cedara's medical software for veterinary practices, and will collaborate on new products for medical image and data management in veterinary care. The deal also includes Cedara becoming a 10% equity stakeholder in Eklin.
