AFP introduces equine DR

Diagnostic x-ray vendor AFP Imaging has introduced an equine DR system, Digi-Vet Equine, at the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas.

The portable device was developed for the approximately 9,000 U.S. veterinarians that treat horses, according to the Elmsford, NY-based company. The firm estimated the market for the $86,000 device to be approximately $100 million over the next few years.
