Growth in its services business led overall revenue growth and earnings for Bio-Imaging Technologies in the third quarter (end-September 30).
Revenues for the Newtown, PA-based company, which offers medical image management services for clinical trials, totaled $10.3 million, up 34% compared with $7.7 million in the third quarter of 2005. Net income increased to $367,000, compared with a net loss of $530,000 in the same quarter a year ago.
For the first nine months, total revenues climbed to $29.8 million, up 37% compared with $21.8 million in the same period of 2005. Net income was $391,000, compared with a net loss of $2.2 million in the same period last year.
