Increased revenues in its medical systems group lifted Franklin Park, IL-based Del Global Technologies to higher financial ground in fiscal-year 2007 (end-July 28).
The company's consolidated net sales increased by 25% to $104.2 million for fiscal 2007, compared with $83 million in fiscal 2006. The medical systems group led the way with a 30% gain in sales to $91 million -- compared with $70.3 million in the last fiscal year -- on greater international and dental sales and increased sales of higher-priced digital products.
Net income in fiscal 2007 totaled $3.8 million, compared with net income of $100,000 a year ago.
In the fourth quarter, consolidated net sales climbed 29% to $31 million, up from $24 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2006. Net income reached $2.2 million, compared to $700,000 in the same quarter a year ago.
