Optical imaging developer VisEn Medical of Woburn, MA, has raised Series B financing, the company reported.
Merck Capital Ventures and Flagship Ventures co-lead the $7 million investment round, which also included the Bollard Group and other investors. Per Lofberg, president and CEO of Merck Capital Ventures, will join VisEn Medical's board of directors.
VisEn was founded in 2000 by researchers and clinicians at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
