Solid order growth drove an increase in revenue and income for GE Healthcare in its first quarter (end-March 31).
Revenue at the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based firm increased 5% to $3.73 billion, compared with $3.54 billion in the first quarter of 2009. Profit reached $497 million, up 21% compared to the $411 million posted in the same quarter last year.
