Philips Healthcare has launched a new portfolio of service agreements, called RightFit, designed to offer North American customers more customized service options.
The RightFit portfolio is designed for healthcare organizations to customize service coverage and support options for medical imaging equipment for specific maintenance, clinical, and business requirements.
RightFit includes service options segmented at six different levels, compared to three levels of service under company's previous service portfolio, with expanded options at both the premium and value ends of the service continuum. Customers can move between service agreements at no additional charge.
RightFit offers service enhancements, such as technology upgrades, to keep hardware and software up to date; Philips' Utilization Services to enhance system performance; and healthcare consulting and clinical applications education. Philips Multi-Vendor Service is also available for hospitals to consolidate service requirements under one contract.
Philips launched RightFit in response to challenges in the industry from the economic slowdown and reimbursement cuts, according to Tom Kirkland, senior vice president of customer services for North America. The program also represents Philips targeting the imaging center service segment more aggressively, he said.
RightFit will be available in North American starting July 5, and Philips plans to expand the program to additional markets in other countries later this year and into 2012.
