Boston-based start-up Candescent Health has launched a new software-based radiology service aimed at optimizing clinical performance, efficiency, and patient care in medical imaging.
The service will bring a new level of efficiency to radiology, said Candescent founder and CEO Scott Seidelmann, who is also the former president and CEO of national radiology group Radisphere Radiology.
Radiology is one of the most important services in a hospital, and providing the most efficient process is essential to help radiologists deliver better diagnoses and patient care, while reducing cost, according to the company.
