GE Healthcare is partnering with Accenture to improve medical claims processing and related cash flow for healthcare providers.
By combining GE's DenialsIQ analytics software, which flags claims denials and their causes, with Accenture's consulting services, the companies will target medical claims management, which is seen as one of the largest areas for lost revenue among U.S. healthcare systems.
GE estimates that through the combination of analytics and consulting services, the collaboration could help healthcare providers save, on average, between 25% and 50% of their current costs to reprocess denied claims.
