Digital x-ray service firm First Source has received an order for multiple units of its Vision M portable x-ray system from Allied Mobile X-Ray and Ultrasound (AMX).
Vision M features Visaris Avanse image acquisition software from digital x-ray and PACS firm Visaris Americas and a wireless cesium detector from Varex Imaging. The software is integrated with the x-ray tube to allow technologists to set exposure from the scanner's laptop computer, rather than the x-ray tube, to enhance productivity.
AMX made the purchase to help its planned expansion into the Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL, area.
