Imaging services provider Radiology Partners (RP) has formed a partnership with radiology humanitarian organization Rad-Aid International.
The partnership has the goal of bringing radiology support to medically underserved communities in low- and middle-income countries, with RP staff and partners serving on Rad-Aid's multidisciplinary outreach teams.
The organizations will provide public service and philanthropic medical imaging projects, including onsite radiology education, image-guided procedure demonstrations, and patient-safety protocol formulation. In addition, they will help with equipment planning, technology implementation, radiology administration, remote online educational development, and other activities, according to RP.
