GE Healthcare has named Peter Arduini as its new president and CEO, effective January 3, 2022. He will succeed Kieran Murphy, who will continue next year as a strategic advisor until his retirement.
Arduini comes to GE from Integra LifeSciences, where he has been president and CEO since 2012 and instrumental in developing that company's portfolio and growing its business, GE said. Before Integra, Arduini served as president of Baxter Healthcare's medication delivery division; he has also previously held leadership positions at GE, where he spent 15 years in a variety of roles, from leading the company's CT and molecular imaging business and its healthcare services to managing its U.S. sales.
He maintains memberships on the boards of Bristol-Myers Squibb, the Advanced Medical Technology Association, and the National Italian American Foundation, and he is also a member of Selinsgrove, PA-based Susquehanna University's board of trustees.
