Private practice radiology group Commonwealth Radiology Associates (CRA) has entered into a partnership to handle radiology interpretation and other duties at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
CRA said its radiologists will now have opportunities to work in a city-based academic medical center and/or a community environment in the suburbs.
While the 20 radiologists at Tufts will still work for the Tufts Medical Center Physician Organization, they will also integrate with Commonwealth Radiology and its 71 radiologists. Commonwealth Radiology will also embrace an academic mission and add an academic committee to its governance structure.
