Nonprofit healthcare consultancy ECRI has opened a new global headquarters and medical device evaluation laboratory near Philadelphia.
The 24-acre campus meets the needs of the hybrid virtual ECRI workforce and that of its affiliate, the Institute of Safe Medication Practices. It also symbolizes ECRI's transformation as a global leader in patient safety, according to the organization.
The building opened on April 19 and also features an environmental lab, accident and forensic investigation lab, meeting rooms, open collaboration areas, and flexible workstations. The building's third level, which has yet to be built, will be a hub where local healthcare organizations with similar goals can collaborate on advancements.
