AI firm Lunit has secured a contract to provide BreastScreen New South Wales (BSNSW) in Australia with its breast cancer detection software, Lunit Insight MMG.
BSNSW offers mammography screening to more than 370,000 women each year across New South Wales, Lunit said. It will use Lunit's software to assist radiologists in reading approximately 31,000 mammography exams per year, with an initial focus on women between the ages of 50 and 59 who are undergoing their first round of screening, according to the firm.
