VSM MedTech awarded MEG contract in China

VSM MedTech of Vancouver, British Columbia, has received a contract for the sale of a magnetoencephalography (MEG) system for Xinan Hospital in Chongqing, China.

The 151-channel CTF MEG functional brain imaging system is scheduled for installation in the first half of 2006 and would become VSM's second MEG system in that country. MEG is employed as a noninvasive way to conduct real-time high-resolution mapping of brain function.
