Radiology equipment distributor Mikron Digital Imaging, of Livonia, MI, and Shimadzu Medical Systems USA of Torrance, CA, reported the completion of a RadSpeed Safire two-panel flat-panel detector system installation at the Elmhurst Center for Health in Elmhurst, IL.
The RadSpeed Safire utilizes Shimadzu's 17 x 17-inch Safire direct capture flat-panel detector for radiography/tomography procedures. RadSpeed has a flat tabletop and a 650-lb weight limit with a fully programmable LCD touch panel control on the ceiling x-ray tube support and operator's console.
