HealthTronics nets FDA OK

Healthcare firm HealthTronics of Austin, TX, has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for Endocare's Cryocare CS surgical system.

The clearance includes Endocare's V-Probe variable cryoprobe. Endocare is a wholly owned subsidiary of HealthTronics.
