DuVonne Campbell and Fran Sweet of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists have been chosen to serve as members of a standards committee for diagnostic imaging by the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards.
Campbell, who is the director of government relations for ASRT, and Sweet, the continuing education program reviewer, will be part of a nine-member group charged with creating worldwide guidelines for quality imaging services, an effort that should help reduce medical errors, Sweet said.
The NCCLS is an accredited non-profit organization designed to develop practice standards.
