Digital x-ray firm Direct Radiography Corp. has formed a distributor network to sell its DirectRay amorphous selenium flat-panel digital detectors and other components into the digital upgrade market for conventional x-ray systems.
The Newark, DE-based subsidiary of Hologic has signed on medical imaging upgrade and component supplier North American Imaging of Camarillo, CA, as its first distributor. NAI has rights to sell DirectRay detectors and upgrade kits through its certified distributors to end users in North America, and has already placed one order with DRC. DRC will announce a second distributor alliance shortly, according to the firm.
