The American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) of Sudbury, MA, reported that 65% of the 51 eligible candidates who took its Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) exam in October last year received the credential.
The test consists of 185 questions, of which approximately 30% are based on knowledge, 40% on application skills, and 30% on analysis, according to the professional society.
The AHRA also announced the dates for CRA testing in 2005. On March 19, the exam will be administered in computer-based format at approximately 125 CompUSA Testing Centers located in 34 states in the U.S. Applications for this test date must be received by the AHRA by February 2.
The CRA exam will also be administered, in paper and pencil format, at the AHRA's annual meeting in San Antonio, TX, on August 6. Applications are available by calling the AHRA offices at 978-443-7591, or online at the society's Web site.
