Imaging services provider Alliance Imaging of Anaheim, CA, saw its revenues grow 6% in the second quarter (end-June 30), although the company's net income fell slightly.
For the period, Alliance posted revenue of $115.3 million, compared with $108.4 million in the same period of 2005. Net income for the most recent quarter was $5 million, compared with $6.2 million in the corresponding quarter of 2005.
Alliance also said it has settled a class-action suit filed by a class of current and former employees in California alleging violations of the state's wage, meal period, and break time laws and regulations. Alliance agreed to a settlement in which all claims would be dismissed with prejudice in consideration of a cash payment of $2.5 million, according to the company.
