The American College of Radiology (ACR) of Reston, VA, has launched ACR International Volunteer Services (ACRIVS), a portal to connect healthcare facilities in developing countries, which need radiologist physicians, personnel, and equipment, with donors and/or volunteers in the U.S. and around the world.
Through ACRIVS, healthcare providers can post their needs to the Web site, which automatically matches their request with volunteers offering services, information, sponsorships, or equipment.
The portal can be accessed at internationalservice.acr.org.
