As convicted financier Bernard Madoff heads to prison, prosecutors have begun to investigate ties his wife, Ruth Madoff, has to a New Jersey radiology firm, according to the Associated Press (AP).
Ruth Madoff invested in Hoboken Radiology in Hoboken in 2004, administrator Gary Berger told AP, buying a 21.25% interest through an investor who was a personal friend of her husband.
The company has been named in a filing that added another $30 million in assets to those that prosecutors are investigating, according to the AP.
