Houston-based medical services provider Bederra has completed its acquisition of mobile imaging services provider Texas Mobile Health.
Bederra on March 22 announced the completion of the deal, under which Texas Mobile Health becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Bederra. The firm said the deal is the first of several acquisitions it plans to make as it pursues its goal of becoming a diversified medical services provider.
Bederra added that it "sees massive opportunity for increased market share capture in the acquisition of independent diagnostic service providers that do not possess major insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid contracts."
The Texas Mobile Health acquisition is expected to add more than $2 million in gross revenues to Bederra and be accretive to earnings, the company said. Texas Mobile Health specializes in mobile diagnostic imaging by providing services such as echocardiograms, stress testing, and other diagnostic services to physicians, clinics, and corporations.
