Imaging services firm Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) has promoted Tom Tomlinson to the position of CEO of the company.
Tomlinson's promotion comes after serving as president and chief operating officer (COO) at CDI for the past year. He joined CDI in 2002.
Tomlinson replaces Robert V. Baumgartner, who has been named executive chairman after serving as CEO for the past 10 years. Baumgartner in turn replaces Dr. Kenneth Heithoff, who will continue to serve on CDI's board.
In addition, CDI announced promotions for Rick Long and Tracy Wiese. Long is now COO and will continue to oversee the company's U.S. operations, while Wiese has been promoted to chief marketing and sales officer.
