Two radiology practices in the northeastern U.S. -- Northeast Radiology of Brewster, NY, and Housatonic Valley Radiological Assoc. of Danbury, CT -- have merged their operations, effective August 3.
The firms will continue to operate under the Northeast Radiology name. Northeast Radiology President Dr. Howard Lee said the practice will now be making a multimillion-dollar investment in its imaging centers in Danbury and New Milford, CT, including upgrades to their MRI, CT, 3D mammography, and ultrasound equipment. Northeast Radiology also plans to upgrade the centers' IT infrastructure and facilities.
