Dr. Lauren Golding has been named chief medical officer (CMO) of Strategic Radiology's Patient Safety Organization. Strategic Radiology is a national coalition of privately owned independent radiology practices.
Golding will lead the coalition's strategic initiatives to promote clinical collaboration and continuous clinical quality improvement, including intrapractice image exchange, blinded peer improvement, and shared clinical best practices, Strategic Radiology said.
Golding is a private-practice radiologist based in Winston-Salem, NC. She has a national reputation based on her work with the American College of Radiology on health policy and reimbursement issues. She is a pediatric radiology and breast imaging specialist and currently serves as chief executive officer of Triad Radiology Associates, a group of 51 radiologists.
