Cooper City, FL-based MDView will expand its platform for second opinion services to patients in states outside of Florida as part of a partnership agreement with Modern Teleradiology.
Under the agreement, users of the MDView platform in 12 U.S. states and Canada now have access to Modern Teleradiology’s board-certified and subspeciality radiologists for second opinion reports and video consultations. In addition, Modern Teleradiology founder and Chief Executive Officer Sunil Kini, MD, was appointed medical director of MDView, the company said.
MDView is a medical technology platform designed to facilitate sharing of medical records. The platform provides a direct-to-patient radiology second opinion service that connects patients with expert radiologists for virtual second opinion reports and video consultations. The service is now available in New York, Texas, California, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Illinois, Georgia, Montana, Nevada, Tennessee, and in Canada, the company said.
