As radiologists work on global health initiatives such as introducing health screening services to low-resource areas around the world, they should be cognizant of pitfalls that could exacerbate global health inequities.
That was the message from a recent editorial written by a team of experts in response to a study on patient navigation for breast cancer screening in Uganda. The editorial was published March 7 in the Journal of the American College of Radiology.
