Healthcare IT firm MedInformatix is hosting a series of outreach initiatives geared toward helping its radiology clients meet Medicare appropriate use criteria (AUC) requirements for advanced diagnostic imaging services.
The Medicare AUC program, effective January 1, 2021, will require all healthcare providers who order advanced diagnostic imaging services to consult a clinical decision support mechanism to determine whether the order is appropriate.
MedInformatix has been offering hands-on workshops and webinars for its radiology clients to learn about and prepare for the AUC program in advance of its implementation next year.
