The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation recently awarded a $25,000 research grant to Kevin Evans, PhD, from Ohio State University.
Evans and his team will use the funds to find out if pediatric patients diagnosed with the SARS-CoV-2 virus experience long-term inflammation of multiorgan systems.
Evans is a five-time recipient of the foundation's research grants. Previous projects he led that were funded by the grants primarily focused on medical imaging's role in diagnosing disease and illness.
