Agfa HealthCare is slated to release the 4500M version of its Drystar printer line on September 1. The unit is optimized for mammographic images, including full-field digital mammography, but can also handle CR, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine images. The printer will process 8 x 10 inch (20.32 x 25.4 cm) and 10 x 12 inch (25.4 x 30.48 cm) films with a throughput of up to 80 sheets per hour.
