Block acquires parts and service subsidiary

Block Imaging International of Lansing, MI, has purchased Benchmark Radiology of Fort Wayne, IN, which will become a Block Imaging subsidiary called Block Imaging Parts and Service.

John Smithson, former owner of Benchmark Radiology, will stay on as vice president of engineering. Jason Crawford, formerly vice president of development for Benchmark, will serve as president of the newly formed company.
